His studies at SUNY College of Optometry included a clinical externship at the Northport VA Medical Center, which is a veteran hospital in Long Island, New York. This is where he gained valuable experience in ocular pathology, therapeutics and head trauma. In addition, Dr. Lui also completed externships at the Ezra Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and Vision Institute of Canada in Toronto, both of which he received extensive experience in pediatrics, binocular vision and infant vision.
