If you have never been to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (my friends call it short: Cooking School), well you have to try it. The restaurant is located just at the entrance to Granville Island.
I went there recently and ordered the following:
Appetizer: Red Beet / Gravad Lox ($9)
Main Course: Lamb Saltimbocca ($19)
Wine:
Hester Creek Okanagan Valley, BC Glass ($8)
This meal was a culinary delight. Pricing is very reasonable in comparison to the big names here in town.

The name 4Cats is inspired by the 4Cats Cafe in Barcelona, Spain. The 4Cats Cafe (Els Quatre Gats) is the place where Picasso went with artist, poet and philosopher friends to discuss art and life and make and show great art! This is what we do, create masterpieces and talk about art.
Studio 13 Fine Art is a unique art gallery and working studio featuring original paintings & mixed media works by resident artist Alice Rich.
In the summer of 2003, a group of seven artists came together to open a collective gallery to have a permanent home to show and sell our work and to offer consignment space to other artists.
