When Rich from A-1 Furnavac cleaned our furnace and duct system it was way over due for maintenance! We bought the place in Dec 2003, and although the previous owners had maintained the system the way most of us do - by changing the filter regularly and perhaps attempting to vacuum dust and debris from the air-intake vents - we had not even done that!
I could hear all the stuff racing through Furnavac's high powered vacuum system and into the truck's 'belly'! Wow! I shuddered to think of what else may be getting sucked into the tube - especially since we have 4 cats and you never know what they drag in when you're not looking!
When Rich was done, he showed me some of what got cleaned out of our furnace system - man was there ever alot of dirt in there - well, at least 7 years worth!
He explained some of the reasons why everyone should get their air system cleaned regularly, and apart from the obvious reasons, the one that hit home the most for us was the difference we felt afterwards - no more itchy eyes, sneezing and feeling 'stuffed up' all the time! It's been amazing!
Rich's courteous manner while in our home was professional and made us feel at ease. Whey he left, you would have never known he was there - he took care to leave the areas just as he found them.
