As a potential customer I was greeted with enthusiastic sales people that were passionate about riding and not appearing to close a sale. The first person to approach me was Ryan (it was written on his shirt) who educated me on some phenomenal road bikes and then Big Dave who convinced me that I need a Freeride Bike for the summer. They tell me that they have 4,000 bikes on the floor at one time. A great retail experience and I will be back. I can honestly say that this is the only bike shop that I felt I needed to take a photo of.

Bow Cycle is a family owned business that has been in operation for 60 years. Opened in 1957 by Jim and Mary Sibthorpe, Bow Cycle was first established as a small bicycle and sporting goods store in beautiful downtown Bowness, Alberta. The Sibthorpe sons successfully managed and grew the business for 30 years. In 2005, Longtime employees John Franzky, Darrell Elliott, Kurt Christensen, Kevin Senior and Dave Leung joined the ownership group as well as Joel Sibthorpe.
A lot has changed since the store's early days. The store has grown to become Canada's largest and most successful bicycle retailer.
Dr. Stephanie Shaw is a graduate from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, ON. Originally from Cobourg, Ontario, Dr. Shaw moved to Calgary to pursue her passions and be closer to family. Dr. Shaw is trained in ART, Medical Acupuncture, Graston Technique, and SHIFT concussion management. She has experience working with athletes of all levels, those with chronic illnesses as well as high risk populations. Dr. Shaw's practice philosophy is to provide evidence-based care in order to resolve pain and other dysfunction, as well as promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Shaw's passion for people and travel took her to the Dominican Republic in 2013 where she participated in a humanitarian project treating those who otherwise would not have had access to chiropractic care. Her interests outside of the clinic include competitive swimming, kayaking, volley-ball, baseball, and working out. She is also interested in sketching, painting, and knitting.
