The Liberty Dance Youth Ensemble serves the purpose to mentor young dancers as individuals to reach their personal goals and make a name for themselves within the dance industry. The mentorship will help dancers expand their experiences and prepare for life as a professional. Technique & Wellness Workshops are available throughout the year, as requested.

MOVE promises to bring dancers, studio directors, teachers and parents a young, fresh and exciting dance competition like no other. We are constantly on the MOVE to bring a dance competition experience to life like no other! MOVE is professional, determined and motivated – we partner with only the best in the business. We will provide top, professional judges along with cutting edge scoring technology. We connect and consult with suppliers that know the dance business, ensuring a professionally run competition. MOVE is run by two professional directors – Shawn Desman and Beatriz Leonardo. Our passions,MOVE awards cash prizes to each studio in attendance, along with our Spotlight Award winners and our MOVE Champions. We are continuously on the MOVE to find partners and sponsors that will help to bring in great rewards for our top performers. OUR MANDATE is to make dance available to all who wish to pursue it: this is the guiding principle which breathes through the school. Our programs are tailored to all ages and all levels: from the very young to the pre-professional and mature student. Our highly qualified staff nurtures and encourages creative development and self-discipline, empowering their students with strong dance technique, musicality and social awareness. They are encouraged to be intelligent and honest about their dance art.Dance as a performing art is recognized at the end of year: Let's Dance Festival in June is a week-long celebration of dance and the culmination of a year of learning. Any dancer who is committed and fulfills the requirements, can take advantage of extra performance opportunities by auditioning for our annual production of NUTCRACKER, performed in December.Our students learn that dance is a communication tool and this knowledge gives them a sense of excitement about dance as creative expression. Many of our students have pursued their education in dance and choreography at professional schools and universities. Some of them have become professional artists in their own right. All have acquired a true appreciation and love for dance.
