Welcome to the Ouisi Bistro, Vancouver's original New Orleans restaurant. For over 16 years The Ouisi Bistro has been proudly serving authentic Cajun-Creole cuisine. The restaurant is located in South Granville and is a great pre-theatre or post shopping meeting place. The dishes are rustic and down home comfort food with creative twists. By emphasising local ingredients and traditional southern fare the Ouisi offers the flavours and excitement of New Orleans, presented without pretension in a warm, engaging atmosphere. Try the Ale Marinated Chicken and Hot Smoked Duck Sausage Gumbo. To accompany our cuisine, taste one of the 60 plus 'Beers from around the World', choose a selection from our wine list, have a taste of one of seven beers on tap, drink a Sazerac, or find your favourite among our immense single malt scotch and bourbon menu. During the season, escape to a cozy hidden patio, where you can enjoy our fabulous brunch or lunch menu.
This is my favourite restaurant. period. I don't get the chance to travel to Vancouver much but we've debated flying in just for dinner at Ouisi. There isn't a thing on the menu you should not order. Great portion sizes, great flavours - I crave them while back home in Ontario. Read more

Recognized as the "jewel in Vancouver's culinary crown," West's outstanding contemporary regional cuisine and seamless service has garnered much critical acclaim, including four consecutive wins as Restaurant of the Year by the Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards, and a prestigious four star rating by Mobil Travel Guide. The elegant dining room is highlighted by a magnificent, temperature-controlled wall of wine housing West's extensive wine collection, an ever-evolving list of acclaimed Old World producers, rare finds and exciting New World vintners. At the gleaming cherrywood bar, martinis and cocktails are composed of fresh herbs, juices and creative infusions.
I visited West with a friend that had been there a couple of times before. The outside of the restaurant was very unassuming. You would have no idea that there was a fantastic restaurant inside. Parking may be an issue as it's a busy streetfront but they did seem to have valet. We sat at the bar and had cesars until our table was ready--made fresh with muddled tomato right in front of our eyes. The food was all amazing both in appearance and taste. REALLY good. I would definitely eat here again! Read more
