The warehouse on Shaughnessy St takes care of the deliveries and keeps the Arbutus store fully stocked for business. We carry products from lumber, plywood and screws to power tools and safety equipment. Our story began in 1972, when Sid Shivji bought the business from its former owner. Several years after taking over the business, an unfortunate fire brought the building down. Sid rebuilt the store and reopened in 1975. The company has grown steadily with the support of the neighbourhood to what it is today, a great option for Vancouver's and Ladner's contractors and home owners. Every time you are serviced, a new pouch will be opened for you! You can either have it thrown away or take it home. Our metal tools go through a thorough sterilization process. Each set of tools are individually sealed and opened at the beginning of each service to ensure the utmost in sanitation.
