In addition to housing, many co-operative activities and events take place at Castlegreen thanks to the active, shared involvement of the Board of Directors, our Committees, and our members. Castlegreen is a participating member of the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada.

The Castle Green Community Centre is a GREAT place to hold any event (Weddings, Shags, Birthday parties, Large family dinners, Indoor yard sale, etc) at every affordable cost! We also have a small meeting room “SUNSET ROOM” set up with a table and chairs to seat up to 10 people. It is great for any type of meeting, or even a family dinner. When you rent the Hall or Sunset Room. You have full access and use of the entire kitchen complete with a large fridge, microwave, 2 stoves, dishwasher, coffee urns, hot chafing dishes, utensils,dishes, etc. You also have access to our stereo system, podium, projector screen, microphone (upon request), tables and chairs (you must supply your own table cloths), 86 upholstered chairs available, (51 wooden chairs available upon request), 18 Round tables and 5 long rectangle tables (more rectangle tables upon request).
