Laurie Moore offers a holistic approach to help you achieve emotional well being. Laurie will focus mainly on emotional health through Mind-Body Attunement Therapy, (a somatically based therapy that works with a person's central nervous system to reprocess past traumas and teach the nervous system to arrive at a state of calm where the mind and body are attuned and have access to a range of coping strategies); but will also explore your physical and spiritual health when necessary. Emotional dis-ease can manifest in many symptoms such as depression and anxiety but also can contribute to physical issues such as high blood pressure, IBS, eating disorders etc. Laurie is passionate about facilitating your return to holistic health and offers a complimentary 30 minute introductory session.

H. Jane Wakefield is a psychologist, practicing in the Vernon area for over 40 years. For the past 25 years I have specialized in the treatment of trauma survivors including those with complex intergenerational trauma, complex trauma, and those who suffered child abuse of all kinds. While I no longer treat children, my knowledge of child development as well as transactional analysis, hypnotherapy, dissociative disorders and of all the new trauma techniques (some of which I developed, and some of which I pioneered in the province) means that I bring a huge amount of information and clinical expertise to my work. I am trained in all the so-called letter therapies or trauma techniques including EMDR, TFT, EFT, EdxTM, OEI, VK/D, TAT, and MPTAT, and I have access to a neurofeedback therapist. I do limited work with couples, with those with depression and anxiety, and addictions. I believe that people have within them the capacity to heal & my job is to help unlock this.
