Kinghaven Treatment Centre was established in 1971 and continues to serve an adult male clientele suffering with addiction and/or mental health challenges. The children, while not in treatment, are cared for in a fully-licensed childcare centre at the facility. This program has served in excess of 2,500 women and children. In 2006, Valley House, a 6 bed residential program for the most chronically addicted was opened on the Kinghaven campus and Mollie's Place, a similar 6-bed facility for women, opened on the Peardonville House site in 2008.

WRSFV web site WRSFV provides emergency shelter, emotional support, advocacy, referral, free individual counselling and support groups for women and children who have experienced violence. Safe specialized support is available to children and youth who have witnessed abuse.
