As Canadian Certified Pedorthists, we are specially trained in custom made orthoses from a 3D cast of your feet and made in our local lab. We also specialize in the proper fit of footwear and can custom modify footwear as necessary. Together, these services assist in managing pain and discomfort in the back, lower limbs, and feet.We work alongside other healthcare professionals to help maintain proper alignment and biomechanics, reduce pain, and increase mobility. All patients will need a diagnosis from a prescribing clinician.Mission StatementOur promise to you, as our valued client, is to do our best to increase mobility and reduce pain in the lower limbs and feet, so that you may continue with your daily activities and improve your quality of life. Beginning in a one room office at the local YMCA, the Elgin-St. Thomas Youth Employment Counseling Centre opened its doors in 1986. Originally offering services to youth, the agency’s purpose broadened to serving all unemployed and underemployed in Elgin County. Our office has relocated six times and currently is located at 400 Talbot Street, St. Thomas. The West Lorne satellite location was opened in 1999. We deliver Employment Ontario’s Employment Services Programs. These provincially funded programs assist individuals of all ages in finding employment. This is accomplished through access to resources and information as well as free access to employment counseling, a variety of employment workshops and assistance with job matching and placements.
