If you have never been to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (my friends call it short: Cooking School), well you have to try it. The restaurant is located just at the entrance to Granville Island.
I went there recently and ordered the following:
Appetizer: Red Beet / Gravad Lox ($9)
Main Course: Lamb Saltimbocca ($19)
Wine:
Hester Creek Okanagan Valley, BC Glass ($8)
This meal was a culinary delight. Pricing is very reasonable in comparison to the big names here in town.

My daughter has been attending art classes at Polka Dot Art Studio since the opening in May. I can’t say enough great things about this studio. The teachers are amazing and so patient with the children. I have been to other studios in the past and I found that there was really no direction with the lessons…at Polka Dot the teachers are always prepared with something new and exciting for the children to learn!
