Excellent. What a wonderfully authentic hole in the wall. Though the servers struggled in communicating, they were warm and efficient. I have had a lot of great Japanese, and this is right up there. I've been eating at this place from time to time since it opened. The food is good, the service decent. Food arrives with minimal wait, even when the restaurant is packed. The physical place itself is neither clean nor dirty, but in between. Had a fly in my drink once, but was promptly replaced by the wait staff, who were polite as usual.

I found the food here to be quite good. Although it looks quite run down. The noodles were fresh (did not stick to each other). You can order the raw beef to be separated to a small dish for you to place by yourself, which I found nice of them to allow you to do. This is because it allows you to place some taste in to it (lemon and other sauces) and separate the beef before placing it in.
I use to visit this place late at night. If you are in the area and looking for a inexpensive meal, then this is the place!
