It’s a hard decision when placing a loved one in LTC facility. Main St Terrace is an old building, but what they lack in aesthetics they make up for with incredible staff. . I am astounded as to how well my mom is doing there. She’s happy, benefits from the interaction, she’s safe. With my mom’s dementia there is no way I could provide the same level of care, meals, hygiene, nursing, dr visits, physiotherapist, sensory games, outings, health, safety & security. My mom is hzppy & doing well

The staff members are non-uniformed support workers who are familiar with each resident’s history and personality. The resident is included in the daily routines of the home as much as possible. For example, a resident who finds food preparation enjoyable and familiar, will be encouraged to participate in the kitchen, under safe supervision.
