Welcome to Harbour House. We are a transition house serving women and their dependent children who have left situations of intimate partner violence. We are located on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, in Bridgewater, offering services in Lunenburg and Queens Counties. We have fifteen beds at the House. Our doors opened in 1987, and we have since that time sheltered hundreds of women and children. A typical stay is six weeks, during which time women receive safe shelter, supportive counseling, appropriate referrals and a compassionate and healing atmosphere.
