Our community is rich in possibilities. At the same time, we have our challenges. The gaps between the promise and the peril divide our communities, and leave many hard working people with limited opportunities to improve their lives and the lives of their families. Changing conditions in the Medicine Hat and the surrounding communities in the South Eastern Alberta corner requires a multi-level approach to creating stability in the non-profit sector, and building upon the assets we have developed to-date.On a year-round basis, United Way works with agencies, corporate partners and stakeholders to build possibility and opportunity. This community-centric philosophy will be key in moving us forward.Funding agencies to provide programs and services to the community has and always will be an essential piece of our investments. In addition, our Investment Strategy moving forward will include a broader range of activities in order to achieve greater community impact. We wish to thank all of you for becoming a part of the united movement in building a stronger, more vibrant South Eastern Alberta community
