Home life is the cornerstone of L'Arche. The evening meal, birthdays and times of prayer are small but cherished celebrations that strengthen the bond between the six to eight people sharing each home. At L'Arche Daybreak we have eight homes located in ordinary neighborhoods in the suburban community of Richmond Hill, just north of the city of Toronto.
The City of Vaughan Hockey Association (CVHA) is a not-for-profit, minor hockey association, operating within the boundaries of the City of Vaughan. The CVHA Executive Board must approve any matters affecting the Association as a whole. The Executive Board consists of the following elected and appointed positions – President, Immediate Past President, Vice President Rep (General Manager), Vice President House League East, Vice President House League West, Treasurer, Sponsorship Chairperson, Referee-in-Chief, and Director at Large.
Is to promote, support and encourage persons with intellectual disabilities by offering programs in individual development and integration into their communities, while maintaining a family oriented environment. To develop and promote better community understanding and awareness of individuals with intellectual disabilities with a view to encouraging respect for the rights and dignity of persons with intellectual disabilities. Vaughan In Action Community Program is a non profit organization assisting youth and adults with intellectual disabilities to become active and contributing members of our community through inclusive opportunities.
CMHA York Region & South Simcoe provides essential mental health support services, including therapy and community resources, to individuals and families in need across York Region and South Simcoe.
