The Robin Hood Association operates four major facilities. These include the Learning Centre on Broadway Boulevard; the Children and Youth Community Centre on Spruce Avenue; Aspen Village located on Bison Way; and the Adult Learning Centre in Fort Saskatchewan.
In the early seventies an idea was brought forward by some citizens of Vegreville of Ukrainian descent. Vegreville, being a centre of Ukrainian settlement in northeastern Alberta, might be a logical place for hosting a Ukrainian festival.
