Blue Line started over 50 years ago in the City of Ottawa with just fourteen taxicabs. Blue Line quickly established itself as a leader, consolidating other fleets to have the critical mass to operate more efficiently. Today, it is the dominant fleet in the Capital city with over 540 full-time taxicabs. Small fleet sizes translates to longer customer waiting time, and more empty “dead-heading”. It leads to unproductive wear and has negative consequences for the environment. For reliable 24-hour taxi service, call Blue Line Taxi Co Ltd. in Ottawa. We offer local and long distance transportation services, including fast transportation to the local airport. Give us a call today to request a pick-up.

Pasta is the superstar at this Old World Italian eatery, where high ceilings and brick walls enclose nothing short of a pending experience in exquisite dining. On-line reviewers swoon over the homemade pasta and pizza, and collectively scoff at the notion that one might find anything pedestrian to eat at this innovative King West spot. The frequently updated menu is date-stamped, to demonstrate its recency, but staples like nodini (little fists of bread brushed with olive oil, sea salt and rosemary) and parmigiana di melanzane (layers of preserved tomato, fried eggplant and cheese) are perennial favourites. Buca's wine list is respectable; the cocktail selection is inventive and the service is stellar.
The flavour of the pasta was amazing. The aged beef was exquisite. Service was second to none. Wine parings were excellent. Thank you for a great evening. I wish I had the recipe for the pasta. Read more
We all like a good deal and even better, a few good deals. At Buy & Sell Kings, deals can be found on everything from a new tablet to a bike or a piece of gold jewellery. “It’s not your average hole-in-the-wall consignment store,” says co-owner Brandon Ferreira. “We’re laid out over 5,500 square feet in a very organized manner — section-by-section, on two storeys with plenty of space to browse.” Brandon has been running the store with partner Daryl Rak since the late 1990s. “I’ve been a wheeler and dealer all of my life. I love the thrill of the hunt and never knowing what is going to come through my door,” Brandon says.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is a lot of really cool stuff to check out. Read more
Nestled in the atrium of Mies Van der Rohe's modernist TD Towers, Bymark reflects the dynamic energy of Toronto's bustling financial district. The bar is a mix of leather and wood, flooded with sunshine during the day and a dramatic mix of candlelight and cityscape at night. The glittering dining room impresses with Yabu Pushelberg's timeless design, both a focal point and a stage for a memorable meal. Bymark may be a few steps below ground, but its décor and service exceed expectations.
I loved the atmosphere. Will go back to have the tuna tartare. I had some beef thing on lettuce - it was incredibly bland and for desert I had the eclair which was stale and the cream was hardened. But the atmosphere is great and for Winterlicious they have a new menu so may check it out. Read more
On-line reviewers can't find enough superlatives to describe this Roncey fave, where locals regularly crowd to sample such spot-on Polish comfort fare as packed-with-meat cabbage rolls, perogies (pick from boiled or pan-fried) and decadent potato pancakes. Schnitzel is perfectly seasoned and just crisp enough. Beetroot soup thrills the vegetarians in your party. And combination plates make the tyranny of choice easier. Dropping in on the exceptional selection of Polish beer and vodka makes things easier, still. Staff is friendly, no matter how busy the place gets.
I've been to this restaurant twice now and both times the food has been great. But I was there with my husband's family last night for my father-in-law's birthday. My mother-in-law had brought a birthday cake to the restaurant and had asked them to bring it out as a surprise when it was time for dessert. Everything was going great until the server informed my mother-in-law (just before they were about to bring his birthday cake out) that we would be charged $10 just for them to bring it out! We said forget it, and we took the cake home and had it there! We would have ordered coffees and cafe au laits to go with the cake, so they certainly would have made at least another $20 off of that, but it's their loss I guess. So to summarize, the food was excellent as usual, but we were very disappointed that they wouldn't accommodate our birthday cake with out a steep charge - it left a bad taste in our mouth. Read more
