Continental Building Movers was established in May of 1988 by Murray Abra, a second generation structural mover. Murray's father, Cecil Abra of Abra Building Movers started his company in 1958 and moved hundreds of buildings. In the early sixties, Cecil was hired by Ontario Hydro, to move a whole town in Cameron Falls, Ontario to Nipigon, Ontario. Murray started working for his father in his teens and through tough work and valuable lessons learned the art of moving buildings.Over the past 30 years Continental Building Movers has built upon that knowledge, improving skills, equipment and labour techniques.Focus continues to be on customer satisfaction and gaining repeat customers and an excellent reputation in the building moving industry.
