Established in 1990, D. & J. Lockhart Excavators Ltd. is a family owned business. Sales are generated from a variety of aggregate materials mined from our pit located in the West Montrose area. A second site, located in the south end of Guelph is primarily used for importing and exporting recycled material, i.e. concrete and asphalt. In addition to the many products manufactured, the company has a fleet of over a dozen trucks and trailers, as well as numerous pieces of heavy equipment. Much of the excavating and grading is performed for industrial, commercial and municipal projects. In recent years the company has also expanded their clientele to include working with residential home builders and providing site servicing for a number of different projects. Staff has grown from 5 in the early days to twenty and it is because of these dedicated and loyal employees that the company has been able to provide the quality of service that so many satisfied customers have come to expect.
