My husband used to work downtown, and we would frequently eat here for dinner instead of trying to get out of the city at rush hour. Food is really good, some very unique dishes, and the atmosphere is modern and contemporary.

Be aware there's always a waiting line for breakfast at Melissa's. That alone should tell you how good it is. The servers are great and can become overworked especailly in ski season as customers are rushing for breakfast to catch the next bus up to the ski hills. But we don't ski so our server could get a breath and not have to rush. The food is excellent and service is great. The only thing I'd like to see is senior protions of some of the larger breakfasts the Eggs benny come 1/2 portion but none of the other signiture breakfasts do. Wellingtons is my favorite restaurant in Calgary. The food time after time is remarkable. Not to mention the service. If you are looking for a good steak/seafood dinner this is the place to go. Small, quiet little place with high end dining. Love it!!
