We believe that children learn through "play". The play based program will provide activities that will engage the children so they can explore, experiment, ask questions or be questioned to further their thinking and problem solving skills. The curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation for future success by respecting and recognizing each child's interests and strengths. Building on child's interests and strengths, children will have every opportunity to excel and grow to their fullest potential. All the learning centers and learning activities are designed for early childhood growth and development. Little Mountain Preschool uses developmentally appropriate practices to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where children develop socially, physically, emotionally and cognitively.

At MPCC, we define Missions as any ministry or support role extending beyond the congregation, the goal of which is to fulfill the Great Commission by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, planting churches, and ministering to the holistic needs of people overseas, in sub-cultures in North America, and together with the Evangelism Committee, in our local community. The purpose of our Missions program is to help our congregation, both individually and as a body, experience Jesus personally by understanding and sharing His heart for the lost and hurting of this world. In this, we want to be challenging, equipping and supporting each other to work with Him to bring the Kingdom of God to individual people and to people groups around the world. Bringing the Kingdom of God to people encompasses spiritual, physical and emotional wholeness in a holistic understanding of God's heart for restoring humanity through the Gospel. The MPCC Missions Committee: Ken Neufeldt (Chair), Stojan Ninkovic, and Sam Youssef (and Pat Tydeman, MPCC Elder). This group of people have the privilege of purposefully seeking and relaying to the rest of the congregation, the Lord's direction for the growth, focus and participation of members of MPCC towards missions. MPCC has also supported various families and individuals who have gone on short term missions trips, like serving with orphanages in Thailand and Mexico and serving as camp counselors in local youth summer camps. Equipment and supplies have also been part of MPCC's loving support of these short term trips. We have also reached out to the local community via Abbotsford Impact, a program where members of the church body have asked the church to join them in helping needy people that God has led them to know and interact with. Christmas hampers for needy families, bicycles for migrant Mexican farm workers, and clothing and school snacks for single parent families are some of the creative ways that God has helped us demonstrate His love in Abbotsford.
