The Tae Ryong Park Taekwondo and Hapkido Academy was established in 1993 by a father and son team: Grand Master Deuk H. Park and Master Jae H. Park. Together with close to 100 years of experience in the martial arts they have created one of the leading Taekwondo and Hapkido schools in the world. Since its start, the Academy has been a very important part of the community helping members to keep fit and healthy as they train in the physical aspects of the martial arts as well as to help students to develop greater Confidence, Respect and Discipline.

We use current, best practice research in the field of youth development, social work, adventure therapy and experiential education to ensure that programs are safe, engaging, meaningful and challenging. We design programs that incorporate our core values, and themes from the participants' daily lives and agency defined therapeutic goals and aspirations for their groups. She studied community development, wilderness therapy, program evaluation, and co-occurring disorders. Lise completed a Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy in 2012. Lise uses these skills to facilitate groups and counsel individuals both in urban and wilderness environments with a focus on physical and emotional safety, successful participation, fun, meaningful activity and group cohesion.
