Welcome to Black Bear Camp, Ontario's premier fishing lodge and your family's wilderness adventure outfitter in Northern Ontario. We are located one hour west of Sudbury, Ontario; five hours north of Toronto or three hours east of Sault Ste. Marie and the Michigan border.Fishing: Fish our crystal clear 3000 acre lake for excellent Smallmouth Bass, Walleye (Pickerel), Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Whitefish and Jumbo Perch. Nearby streams, lakes and rivers have awesome trophy Brook Trout (Speckled Trout) fishing and spectacular unspoiled scenery.
We have 14 wooded acres, including 1000 feet of water front. Five cottages that ensure privacy and independence - all facing the South River. There are fishing boats to rent to explore the river. Or you can always bring your own and park it at our dock for an extra fee.
