Here at Spirited Farm in Merlin, Ontario, we don't just believe that your pet is family - we treat them like they are our own family! With many years of experience taking care of all kinds of animals, we are ready to take care of your furry babies whenever you might need us. You are in exceptional hands with us, every time you call. Our kennel is right here on the farm, which allows us to provide around the clock care. Thanks for considering us as your pet's home when you're away from home.
DaMax Kennels has a variety of boarding options for you and your dog. The difference here is that all dogs get to be outside all day or inside, it's their choice! Social play yards that are accessed all day to private indoor/outdoor yards for those dogs that need their own space. We have roofed pens for those special escape artist pets! We have plenty to do here from playing in the pool, lounging on raised benches, to running in the half acre grass yard in the sun, to retreating into the shade bush for a little sniffing and relaxation! Your dog makes the choice of how active and interactive they want to be at any time of the day.
We also board cats in their own private south facing room in large exercise crates and plenty of fresh air and catnip on choice! Check out our facebook page to see what a typical day at DaMax Kennels looks like! Give a call to set up a visit, all dogs and everyone is welcomed here!
Hi, I'm Lori Payne. My husband Ken and I own and operate A Pawsitive Experience Pet Spaw. We opened our boarding kennel in April 2005, after Ken and I had both retired from the Ontario Provincial Police. We have always been animal lovers (me especially). I have always been an advocate of animal rescue, and have opened my home to numerous abandoned, abused and neglected animals over the years. I am certified in Animal First Aid by Fanshawe College.I have many years experience in dealing with animal behaviours such as fear, separation anxiety, aggression and eating disorders, to name a few. It takes a lot of love and patience to deal with scared and abused animals - but I have found that given enough of both they will reward you with unconditional love and joy.At the present time we are the proud parents of 2 dogs, and 3 cats - all rescues. Our love of animals is what prompted us to think about working with them after our retirement.
They have been cutting our dogs for years. They do such a good job that my parents bring their dog up from Hamilton and get his hair cut here too.Read more
