The Good Samaritan Society is a not-for-profit organization that provides specialized health and community care services, including independent living and support for seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities across Western Canada.
The Hamlet of Blackie & District Community Association is currently building a multi-purpose sport court in Hill Park. This sport court will facilitate Tennis, Badminton, Volley Ball, Street Hockey, Roller Skating & Rollerblading and Skateboard in the Spring, Summer & Fall, and ice skating and shinny hockey in the winter. This facility is being built at a cost of $70,000 and we are currently funded at $55,000. If you feel that this facility will be a benefit to the community, we are requesting your financial support in making this project a reality.
