After a year of contractors in our home our number one pick would be Canary Custom Surfaces hand down. If I could give more than five stars I would. They had excellent communication skills, customer service, great choice of products, knowledgeable and skillful staff. We had Don of Hudson Bay Charters haul our boat from storage near Chemainus down to the dock in Ladysmith. It was very tight due to another vehicle parked in the way but he skillfully and patiently maneuvered his truck until he was able to get it safely out of there. I have been frequenting this store for a number of years and love the ever changing variety of goods they carry. I like that they use where possible suppliers and supplies that are local or from other parts of Canada. I have a sofa from them which is perfect. I have a chair I purchased from them and they covered for me. Excellent work in matching the upholstery design, making extra cushions. Currently I have on order bookcases and a desk - all will be made locally.
