Welcome and thank you for your interest in Jacqueline's School of Dance (JSOD). JSOD has been an established dance studio in the Durham region since 1984. Our current location offers four bright, spacious, and climate controlled studios that operate six days a week. Our instructors are fully qualified members of the BATD (British Association of Teachers of Dancing). They are professionals who continually educate themselves with new, innovative styles and techniques.We offer unsurpassed instruction in ballet, pointe, acro, jazz, tap, highland, musical theatre, hip hop, and lyrical, focusing on technique and musicality. Classes are organized according to age and experience on both recreational and competitive levels. Our Twinkle Toes dancers start as young as three years old while there seems to be no limit to the ages of our adult dancers.JSOD's success is due to the fact that we treat each and every one of our dancers and their families equally and enthusiastically. We recognize that our students are eager to learn dance skills and technique while at the same time remembering that everyone wants to have fun and feel good about themselves.
