Growing up in Chilliwack, I graduated from Timothy Christian School in 1983. After working for Custom Upholstery Ltd for four years, I purchased the company in 1987. In 1988, I married my wife, Debbie and settled in Chilliwack. After enjoying several years as a business owner in downtown Chilliwack, I ventured into the construction industry and started a vinyl decking company in 1995. 'Aqua Deck' grew even during the slow economic times; however, by 2004 I was ready for another challenge. I sold that business and started Denbie Homes. I enrolled with National Home Warranty and started building spec homes. Since then, I have enjoyed varied challenges including custom homes, multifamily developments and commercial projects. I continue to attend conferences to keep up to date on current trends and standards in the construction industry. The experience I have gained has been vast, not only learning basic and complex construction, but also insight into all aspects of the industry working together.

Formed in 1970, our Society has always sought to develop academic excellence, as well as social and cultural awareness, and as such we continue to encourage students to work diligently and to become socially responsible citizens. We remain dedicated to providing an enriched academic program in a safe, nurturing learning environment. From Kindergarten to graduation, students continue to benefit from our schools' unique educational philosophy and to enjoy our close-knit family atmosphere.

At Discovery Playhouse we provide many educational services including Daycare, Preschool, and Out of School Care. Any time you enter our Centre doors you will find children busy learning and developing in a safe and fun filled environment. It is our hope that the families of Discovery Playhouse will be actively involved with their children at the Centre as we are a Society run by our members. Discovery Playhouse Children's Society is a registered charity offering both preschool, daycare and out-of-school programs. We have been operating in Pitt Meadows since 1974. We are founded and maintained by parents whose objectives are to provide a quality educational experience for their children. We welcome all children and their families to our Centre. Our program recognizes that children are individuals and that every child is unique. This will mean that the activities of play, learning, and growing will be presented in such a way that all children will feel they belong.
