Great service. A cute diner atmosphere and there's usually somewhere to sit. Check out their lunch specials for items that aren't on the menu! I used to love going here to grab the paper and do sudoku near the window.

The service was slow and the portions were small. I was disappointed in the blandness of the salmon. If I had been paying for it, I would have been annoyed. If I go back, it will be someone else's idea and their money.

I stopped in for the cutest mani/pedi! The artist was super friendly and the polish lasted for a long time. I noticed a few weeks later, that they offer online booking of their services on BMC! Wish I had known that before I booked!

Found this place one morning after a party and had breakfast with a friend.
Loved the food, loved the decor. Restaurant is clean and the food is adequately priced for their downtown location. You don't feel rushed to finish up and get out - the chef guy even left a pot of coffee on our table so we could refill it ourselves.
The chef guy does have an attitude but he is not obnoxious. Sometimes he gets bored and will eavesdrop on your conversation and make commentary, or crack a few jokes with you. He is authentic, and so is his restaurant.
I love the place and would take new people there.

Open 24hrs, so prices are a little higher than other pho places. Around $9 for a large, but you get your money's worth because the portions are HUGE! They've achieved the perfect noodle to soup ratio.
The soup is one of the best I've had and they do not skimp on the meat either! Fresh tender rare beef + brisket!
Atmosphere is a little dilapidated but so are most pho places, so it's expected.
I'd go here every week if only I lived closer.

The Town of York Historical Society was born of the interest generated by the restoration, in the early 1980s, of an historically significant group of buildings in what is currently downtown Toronto. Many experts – architects, historians and curators – volunteered assistance during the restoration project. From this core group, the Town of York Historical Society was formed in February of 1983. The first-floor location of the old post office was set aside for the establishment of a museum. The Society's first order of business was to accurately recreate its historical interior in order to reopen the post office in December of 1983 – its 150th anniversary. The Society now operates Toronto's First Post Office as a museum, a National Historic Site and an active working post office. This is an appropriate continuation of the site's original purpose.
