It has been my honour and privilege to have represented the riding of Scarborough-Agincourt as your Member of Parliament. I have worked tirelessly to advocate, on your behalf with respect to local and federal matters. I have championed your rights - my neighbours and constituents, both at home and internationally.
There are only a few session days left in this legislative session. We are approaching sine die or the end of the session which means that all the legislation that has not passed will 'die' and have to be reintroduced after the new legislative session begins in January. We are asking for you to contact Senator Don White and the members of the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee to move this bill out of Committee and to the Senate floor for a vote.
Matthew serves as NDP Urban Affairs Critic, and as Deputy Critic for Transport. He has a keen interest in issues of urban sustainability and is a leader in the national dialogue about the future of our cities. As the critic for military procurement, Matthew was active on the F-35 file. He also sits on the Standing Committee on Health.
