After 37 years of producing handwoven coats, jackets, vests, etc., Marrie Berkelaar has decided to semi-retire. She will be concentrating on weaving blankets and throws as her main product line, along with the scarves, shawls and hats, handwoven and created with Atlantic Canadian wool in her tiny studio showroom in historic Lunenburg and her home studio.
Being semi-retired, the shop hours will be reduced to Thursday, Friday and Saturday, noon to 4:00. For other days, it will be open by chance or appointment.

After a search on the Better Business Bureau website I ed Brad at BRM Water Conditioning when my 15 year old softener failed. Brad recommended putting a new metering head on the old resin tank as the most economical solution. As I use KCl instead of salt to preserve my septic field he said a metering head would also save significant money on supplies as the unit would only regenerate when necessary. read more
