Dr. Janis Noseworthy graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1992 with a BSc in Biology and a BA in French. In 1994, she completed her BSc (Honours) in Neuropsychology. She subsequently graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1998. Dr. Janis is certified in Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute and is trained in custom orthotic fitting, gradient compression hosiery fitting, and office ergonomics. She is a member in good standing of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors (NSCC). Since 2004, Dr. Janis has served on the Board of the NSCC in various positions including Director, Vice Chair, Chair, and Chair of the NSCC Peer Assessment Committee, and she currently holds the position of Past Chair. As well, she is a volunteer with the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College Interview Team.

Orchard Court is located on River Street in Kentville, Nova Scotia. Orchard Court consists of four separate and distinct households, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Each household is home to 15 or 16 clients, and features a living and dining room, a kitchen servery, a nursing station, as well as a secure courtyard accessible from each living room. Comfortable furniture and well-appointed common areas make special gatherings and socializing easy, contributing to the warm home atmosphere.
