This is the best curling club I have ever played at.. The people there are so friendly and helpful... Most of us have a reduced rate in exchange for volunteering our help in the kitchen or in the bar. Staff and fellow curlers are like my second family. They are also a great venue for catered functions like celebration of life, weddings, showers, stag and doe etc.. The food is to die for and always offered at a reasonable price. Bonspiels are alot of fun and well attended.

the Ontario Early Years in Sharbot Lake had the pleasure of asking Rob Driscoll to perform a magic show for children birth to six in Veorna during Success By Six week. Rob graciously donated his to help out with this free show for our families. The families enjoyed the interactive performance. I definitely encourage others to take in movies here. I have been for two years now, and it is always enjoyable. The quality service and facilities have not declined, if anything there are small continual improvements.
Art deco themed the Silver Cinema has 60-comfortable seats, with lots of legroom. It is totally accessible, including washrooms. There is also a typical movie canteen available.
