We needed our porch repaired and also some interlocking fixed that had started to sag. As both of these had been done many years ago by a different company. When Cam came to do the quote he explained exactly how the repairs would be done and provided a written estimate. Once the work was started the work needed to fix the front porch was more than expected and took more time than quoted, but Cam didn't try to charge more. The job was done very well in a timely manner and at a high quality.

This review is way past due; I've been coming here frequently for over 5 years now for no reason other than it is FANTASTIC. The master chef and his wife are such lovely people who's efforts and dedication to the restaurant really have a great influence on the atmosphere. Did I mention that the food is amazing? The rolls are made fresh and just simply really well. I love the design of the seating area and how the booths are separated it really gives a cozy feel to the place. It's really excellent value for the quality of food that you're getting.

In the summer of '20 I bought a lightly used 2019 A3 2.0T Quattro. The test drives, purchase, buying a snow tire pkg and buying/getting other parts, and scheduling three service visits over the following 46,000km have easy and without incident. My boyfriend and I have visited Akasaka a few times now and have enjoyed every dining experience here. Although the owner is Chinese, he has studied in Japan and the chefs are Japanese. We agree that they serve up the best rolls in Richmond Hill.
During our most recent visit here a couple of weeks ago, we enjoyed their 10 tation roll (unbelievably delicious lobster roll deep fried!), Crown Royal Roll (fois gras, eel, caviar & gold glitter), Super Rainbow (soft shell crab), and a few pieces of nigiri. Some of their rolls look questionable ('Thai' Passion, 'Korean' kim-chee roll), and being of Japanese descent, I avoided these. Thai/Korean twists should not be mixed or confused with Japanese rolls - surely they serve these to cater to Koreans and people who enjoy Thai food. We strictly stick to their rolls (and make an exception to some nigiri). Not every Japanese restaurant does well with bringing in top quality sashimi. The waiter did not bring us our dry noodle sticks which they bring to every table at no cost. We had to ask and later remind them twice. My boyfriend ordered us the green tea creme brulee for dessert as he enjoys it very much. The serving is very small, however it is quite delicious. Our bill came to approx $78 (no alcohol). The rolls are not cheap, but you pay to get top quality here. All the rolls we had were excellent - among my favourites were the 10 tation & Crown Royal rolls. If you've had them, you will understand what I mean. They are killer!
The teppanyaki here is also very popular, as evidenced by the occupied tables. We however don't do teppanyaki, as you pay for the show. The food is not spectacular and if you're coming to a Japanese restaurant which is well-known for its rolls, its these items which one should stick with.

I booked my tax apt thinking my taxes from last year would be straight forward and an easy process. Turns out I forgot I went to school to two different places and paid tuition (lol) so the process took wayyy longer than expected but Breda handled it like a pro!
