A Ford service dealer had flagged the need to replace the brake pads of my Ford F 350 tow truck. I made an appointment with Budget Brake & Muffler in Coquitlam, BC to replace my brake pads before embarking on a RV trip. I was pleasantly surprised when John Sinkie told me that my brakes were good for another 20,000 k’s & did not need replacing at this time. I find this honesty refreshing & rare. Excellent and honest service. I was rolling the dice taking my car to a service outfit I never used before, but I had two separate problems (both my heating system and AC system) fixed by them with no expensive surprises. A veritable cornucopia of eclectic items are sold here. Although they have their basic. stock merchandise, it’s the unusual stuff they bring in from wherever that sparks my interest here. I noticed in the previous comments that there were complaints about staff’s knowledge on the products but given that much of the stock can vary, it’s almost impossible for anyone to know everything. I go and browse the aisles and often scratching my head wondering at the purpose of this or that product...

GREAT QUICK SERVICE!!! I was stuck in the middle of the busiest intersection behind a light and my car shut down with no hazard signal!!! I received a lot of angry faces. But I called Benjamin Auto Towing right away and they came all the way from Coquitlam to maple ridge! Right on time and as fast as they could.
