Film Helicopters was formed out of a desire to provide a truly independent supplier of high quality gyro stabilized equipment and talented pilots for aerial filming. Following that passion of flying helicopters and limited availability of gear for various helicopters. I went about designing and building my own camera mounts or brackets, taking my ideas which were made up of a lot of drawings. I was introduced to a talented engineer Phil Croft who was up for the challenge to help me get things flying. Together we’ve created some awesome mounts that will allow us to go to the next level of bringing gyro stabilized cameras on-board. Big thanks to the guys from Pictovision for their help and encouragement along with the guys from Vancal Cine, HeliLynx, Eurotec and Heli Logistics for always willing to lend a helping hand.
