My first encounter with hypnosis was almost twenty years ago when I was 38. I had a medical issue which left me with intractable pain for over five years, day and night. I consulted with dozens of doctors, received just as many treatments by generalists and pain management specialists, many prescription medications and even traveled to the United States twice seeking relief but nothing worked! The pain was taking over my life and it was clear I had a very big problem on my hands. One day, at the suggestion of a friend I went for hypnotherapy thinking I had tried everything else to no avail, so why not? Well......it worked! In one session, yes that's right, one session I was pain free!
