Located within a 1/2 Kilometer (1/4 Mile) of downtown Temagami and on the shores of picturesque Cassels-Rabbit Lakes is Northland Paradise Lodge. Directly in front of the lodge is the White Bear Old Growth Forest, a 2,000 acre (800 hectare) ancient ecosystem of giant red and white pines (up to 5 feet or 1.5 m in diameter) and a variety of at least twenty five different species of rare northern orchids.
