Dalhousie Community Kindergarten is a publicly funded community school. For more than 20 years we have been providing students from many Calgary communities with an enriched learning environment based on the Alberta Education kindergarten curriculum of studies. At Dalhousie Community Kindergarten we recognize that each child learns differently and we therefore provide a supportive, engaging environment with activities and experiences that can be tailored to a child's individual learning style. We are an accredited daycare center accepting newborns to 6 year old.
As of September 2018 we offer a preschool program for 3 year old and up.
The Falconridge/Castleridge Community Association provides a wonderful preschool program for 3 & 4 years old children that includes movement and dance, gym, stories and songs, creative arts, computer time,reading, safety programs as well as centers to entice the social, physical and creative appetites for all children. We also take field trips.
We prepare children for entry into kindergarten by providing them with a balance between structured and creative expression.
Snack Time The children need to bring a drink and nutritious snack each day. We encourage healthy eating habits and manners during this time, but it is mainly a social time for children.
All children must at least 3 years old and be toilet trained to attend these classes.

Early Discoveries Nursery School [EDNS], established in 1983, takes pride in developing the "whole child" to build a solid base for future learning. Early Discoveries Nursery School have spaces for inclusions for Occupational Therapists, Physio Therapists, Psychologists and Speech Therapists.
