The library does great things for our community! Displays local art, provides free computers/Wifi. Children get free drop-in programs all year, with special inexpensive programs in the summer. Often collaborates with other community organizations to help kids.Read more

Our goal at Mary Poppins Pre-School is to provide a quality program that strives to embrace the individual needs of children, so that each child may realize his or her growth and development potential. The daily program incorporates activities that encourage the physical, intellectual, creative, social and emotional development of each child.
The basis of our curriculum is cognitively oriented. The children are provided a rich array of materials and activities from which to choose. By allowing children to plan, work and evaluate and by providing experiences that stimulate the child's thinking processes, language and social development, we create an environment that is conducive to self-initiated learning and discovery.
Club 41 Junior Ranks’ Mess has 4 pool tables, 4 dartboards, shuffleboard, 2 large screen TVs, 3 card tables and foosball tables. We also offer wireless internet access, as well as 5 stand-alone computers with Skype and Messenger installed and an ATM. The Mess has a large main lounge with a full DJ booth, a private lounge, and 2 patios with BBQ’s. BBQ’s are available for use for a minimal fee.
The Cold Lake Air Force Museum is home to a small airpark. The five aircraft are displayed at ground level to optimize photographic capabilities. Inside the museum, the CLAFM preserves and exhibits the history of 4 Wing Cold Lake, from its earliest development to present day. Visitors will discover the growth and reconstruction of 4 Wing Cold Lake and its associated Squadrons and Units.The CLAFM continues to refine and reorganize the collection and the exhibits in order to frequently change and grow. Because the museum is continually being revitalized, it is encouraged that visitors return yearly to discover what has been recently unearthed about 4 Wing Cold Lake’s rich history.The Museum is open seasonally; Victoria Day Weekend to Labour Day Weekend with hours of operation Tuesday to Saturday 10-4 and open on Sundays throughout July and August.
