Elgin County has been providing care and support since 1875 when the first House of Industry was established. Over the years, service has been enhanced to include three long term care homes across the County and community outreach programs. The three homes are Bobier Villa in Dutton, Elgin Manor in St. Thomas and Terrace Lodge in Aylmer.

We have an extensive selection of churches of various denominations and service clubs are highly prevalent within the community.
