MARC is an adult literacy program affiliated with Laubach.We are currently in our 27th year of service to our community,which includes Midland,Penetanguishene,and the surrounding areas of North Simcoe County.We offer free,confidential tutoring to adults who want to improve their reading,writing,math or computer skills.We believe that literacy is a basic human right and that each citizen should be able to function fully and comfortably in their community.We believe in people helping themselves and each other.We also teach employment skills.
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) offers free English classes for landed immigrants. It is funded by the Government of Canada through Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
