Randy first started performing primarily as a close-up magician around the age of nine. He went and studied magic books from the local library in his hometown of Madoc, Ont, Canada. He performed his first shows for his parents Randy and Jean and soon at friend's birthdays and family gatherings. He has performed for many children's birthday parties, trade show events and festivals under the stage name "Randy the Magicman". He moved to Belleville, Ont Canada with his family in 2006, where he performed for the "2007 Belleville Ethnic Festival", "2009 Mix97 Holiday Bash", "2010 Belleville Ethnic Festival" and "2013-14 San Souci New Years Eve Dinner". Wanting to take his career in a different direction, Randy started independently studying mentalism and psychology. Since 2008 Randy has been performing his unique brand of Mental demonstrations and psychological illusions as Randy The Mentalist.
