The Spirit of the Island represents our philosophy of serving fresh local West Coast cuisine and in house hand crafted ales and lagers nestled within beautiful landscaping and natural west coast wilderness. The Longwood Brew Pub is central Vancouver Island's only Brew Pub and Nanaimo's favorite rendezvous destination. Our traditional ales are hand drawn using classic original English beer engines and are served at a cellar temperature of 10 Centigrade (50 F.) while out cold ales and lagers are served out of our custom ceramic beer towers at 5 Centigrade (40 F.) These serving methods and temperatures allow our patrons to enjoy our beers in the manner and temperature that they were meant to be.

Everyone welcome! Brent Gibson has over 30 years experience, and has been operating Brent G Hair Studio on Gabriola Island since 2008. We are the only salon conveniently located in the main village core. Walk-ins and appointments welcome. Brent is a Joico certified in-salon advisor.
