Frankie's is the kind of place you want to sit for a few hours sharing a bottle of wine and some great food with your sweetie, or a couple of good friends. A warm atmosphere, made all the more romantic with a live guitar player. Wonderful. We had a great table by the window (though chilly - bring your sweater, but the fireplace table looked oh so cozy!
The caesar salad was fine, we're garlic fans so wish it had had more, but the greens were well dressed. The bruschetta was good -they found the garlic! The mushroom pasta as definitely the highlight of the meal - lots of expertly prepared fungi swimming in a creamy sauce - yummy! Carbonera pasta was okay - the sauce somehow not as delicious as the mushroom pasta and I wished for more pepper. We skipped dessert, nothing was super appealing - and we were full! Yes, this place on the pricey side for just pasta, but worth it as a treat.

Toutefois, le service est parfois inégal : j'ai reçu un service hors pairs à une de mes visites, et plutôt médiocre la fois d'ensuite. Malgré tout, j'y retournerai, pour la bouffe. N.B.: Mentionnez à votre serveuse si vous voulez prendre le temps de digérer entre les services, sinon, ça va un peu vite.
