ORC was built on the love of the game. It began in 1975 with a conversation between a group of local guys who loved tennis and wanted to play year round. Having growing families themselves, they recognized the need for a family centered tennis club in the area to service the expanding population of the Oakville/Mississauga region. It just so happened that this same group of guys were visionaries. By the early eighties, when Olivia Newton John's Let's Get Physical was number one on the billboard charts, ORC 's newly installed aerobics studios were filled with lycra clad members. And, as health and fitness trends have evolved, so has ORC. 35 years and several expansions and renovations later, many of our founding members are still actively involved in a club which has grown to become one of Canada's largest and most successful private family sports facilities.
