Founded in 1959 by Mark Horvatin as Sun Polishing and Buffing Company, the operation soon grew to include metal plating services to satisfy the demands of lighting, furniture and store fixture manufacturers in the Toronto area. The company moved its operations to the current location at 30 Nashville Avenue in 1968 and further expanded its capabilities in 1974 with the construction of a modern, environmentally responsible processing facility. The company has remained family owned and operated throughout its growth and is currently under the management of a second generation with Michael Horvatin, Production Manager; and Tony Horvatin, Technical Manager.
