Centre for String Playing encourages you to join our musical non-competitive, learner-friendly atmosphere.Beginning classes are available for all ages at Centre for String Playing. Whether it is your pre-schooler, your school-aged child, or you yourself who have always had the desire to play an instrument, there is a place for you here at the Centre.Special rates for classes & monthly installments make enrollment easy. A low-cost instrument rental package plan is in place for string students of the Centre. All sizes available at reasonable rates.

As a music school and music store, The Music Stand has been helping budding artists pursue their dreams. The Music Stand is the largest music school in the Hamilton area. We've been in business since 1989 and over 4,000 students have taken music lessons at The Music Stand. We offer private piano lessons, guitar lessons, voice lessons and lessons for a whole lot of other instruments. Our music program runs year round. You can choose to learn pop, jazz, rock or classical music depending on your musical goals. You can also choose between 30 min and 1 hour private music lessons. All our teachers are professional musicians who use the Suzuki method and traditional European teaching methods. Our music store caters to the needs of young musicians offering a wide selection of musical instruments and the largest selection of music books and sheet music in Hamilton. We sell all kinds of instruments: pianos, keyboards, guitars, violins, saxophones, flutes, harmonicas and many more.
